Appartment building with kindergarten located at Štrbské Pleso, High Tatras, Its 35 standard mostly 2-rooms flats are accesible via naturally lit hallway with light steel staircase.Light penetrates into the circulation spacethrough tall rifts that split building's volume. The proportion and form of the apartment building articulated in tall forms with oblique roofs fit in the landscape as its inherent part. The metaphoric connotations with more than common Spruce tree of the widespread mountains botanic type inscribed in its name may well stand for paradoxical simplicity and uniqueness with which it intervenes in High Tatras ambient.
